Bubbles, purple film, or a bad leftover job. We take it off before the new cut.
A short dark band at the top of the windshield. Helps with overhead glare.
Regular sunroofs. Big panoramic roofs need a quote.
Dyed film just makes the glass darker. It still gets hot, and it can go purple in a few years. Ceramic is what you want in Houston.
Less heat
Ceramic film cuts infrared, which is the heat you feel through the glass. The AC has less work to do.
Less fading
It also blocks UV. That's what cooks the dash, fades the seats, and cracks the leather.
Phones and fobs still work
There's no metal in this film, so GPS, radio, and keyless entry keep working.

If a window breaks, the film helps keep the pieces in place.
Rear windows can go as dark as you want. Fronts stay at 25% or lighter, which is the Texas rule.
Cheap metalized tint can mess with antennas. This ceramic doesn't.
Front windows have to let at least 25% of light through, counting the factory glass and the film. We don’t do 5% on the fronts. Rear windows can be as dark as you want.
